The Process

So you know how last time I said I stopped knitting?
Well, that didn’t last too long.

Around the new year, I started a tunisian crochet blanket. I had dreams of a blanket that is all white and is made up
of squares like a granny square blanket. But without the nightmare of all those ends to weave in.
So I made up my own pattern.
The blanket is made by crocheting blocks, turning the blanket and crocheting the next block into the previous.
Unfortunately I don’t know if I will ever be able to explain this properly enough to create a written pattern. The whole thing is a very “whatever happens, happens” kinds of experience.

But you know what? It is easy and boring and simple and turning out to be exactly what I wanted. And at this point in my life, it is also exactly what I need.

Here is to enjoying the process!
